travel to tiffin

Post by brentfordmum »

hi, I was looking at the distance to tiffin ; a 45min - 1hr each way travel to school seems a lot for 11/12 yr old child. Is it practical? do kids do it? anyone with experience, please could u share ur thoughts.

thanks

Tiffins are outstanding schools. Parents love to send their kids here from over 20 - 25 miles, even if another grammar is at their door step. By that standard, Brentford would look like a nearby neighbourhood. Have you been to the Open day? If so, you might have got the idea of the journey involved. If children from Harrow/Southall can do it, it seems very do-able for your DC as well. Any one coming early enough could also take a stroll in Richmond Park. Parking there is free. thanks to our local MP Zac Goldsmith's campaign. :)
