Tiffingirls, your feeling is incorrect. No information or guidance are given by local primaries. Our HT said " do not count on Tiffin, it is a lottery. Year by year some very bright kids are missing out".

Why does any school have an admission criteria? All will be unfair to some. TGS admissions are supported by the Governors, Staff and school community. I chose that school for DD precisely because it selected on ability alone. You could argue that Richmond girls should have priority and not Kingston because it is on the border.

Yeah yeah, surprisingly I have never spoken to anyone currently at TGS who didn't support the admissions arrangements. But obviously you think you know better.
