Just received by email:

We have heard via Kingston Local Authority that you wish your son to be considered for a place at Tiffin School. However, according to our records your son has not yet taken our entrance tests. If this is wrong please let us know immediately. Unless he has taken the tests he cannot be considered for admission in September 2013. If you want him to be tested you must complete the enclosed Supplementary Information Form, attach a photograph, and return it immediately - by email to: admissions@tiffin.kingston.sch.uk, or by post (recorded delivery) to Admissions Department, Tiffin School, at the above address. We will acknowledge receipt of your form within 1 working day.

The outcome of your secondary school application will be sent to you by your home local authority on 1 March. Test scores will also be posted by Tiffin School on 1 March. The waiting list details will be emailed after the Easter holiday 2013.

If you have already decided to withdraw your son from the tests, please let us know by emailing admissions@tiffin.kingston.sch.uk as soon as possible, giving his name and date of birth.

On the second page of this letter are the full details of the arrangements for the non verbal and verbal reasoning exams. Please note that the timings take account of the whole test procedure not just the length of the tests. By bringing your son to take the Tiffin School 11+ admission tests you are confirming that the information you provide is accurate and that you have read and understood the Tiffin School admission policy which is on our website. ‘Frequently asked questions’ are also on our website on the Admissions page. If very bad weather is forecast please check our website to ensure the exams are taking place.

Receipt of your Supplementary Information Form (SIF) is confirmation that your son will be taking the tests. We will compile a list of candidates on Monday 26 November. On Tuesday 27 November we will email you details that your son will need for the exam. We will be using the email address provided by your on your SIF. Please print these details and ensure your son brings them with him for the tests.

If on the day, your son is not fit to take the tests DO NOT SEND HIM TO SIT THE TEST. Telephone the Tiffin School Office on 020 8546 4638. Thanks 12minus. Looks like test date has been sensibly revised to coincide with Tiffin Girls late test.
