Congrats Tiffinboys. It must seem like the end of a very long journey.

Re: 1st March
Just to break up all the good news - we did not get the hoped for news and will wait to see what the waiting list looks like. DS is pretty upset at the moment, but I am a firm believer that all things happen for good reasons. Life ahead will not be better or worse. It will be different and he will end up at the right school for him. I meanwhile will end up substantially poorer, but hey, you can't take it with you!

Re: 1st March
We have been allocated an Ofsted special measures school. (I should add we could have got into a 'Good' one, but it's probably best that we didn't apply for it, as we wouldn't have taken it anyway, so best someone that actually wants it is offered it straight up - we only chose Outstanding schools, some of which were very far away.)
Still don't know what my DS' mark was, which is very irritating.
DS didn't want to go to Tiffin anyway (he has a place at Hampton, which is his preference), but still slightly galling, even if it actually makes our lives a lot easier in terms of not having a decision to make.
