Any child going to slough from kingston areas
Hi all,
I was just wondering if any children from kingston area go to grammar schools in slough. As Langley grammar does not even allow one to sit in the exams if they are not in the admissions area. but what about other 3 schools in consortium.Do they allow to sit in the test?
And if they do go daily to slough, how long does it take through public transport or car???
Is it good enough to get them ready early in morning to reach on time and coming late in the afternoons.

We did consider Slough Grammar as an option. Took bus to go to the school on the test day. X26 to Heathrow and change to another bus for Slough Grammar. Travelling time was about 90 minutes. Not easy for every day travelling. This could be considered only if there is no other better option.
This year, the test dates for Slough and Sutton are clashing.

90 mins everyday is too much for a 11year old, especially when looking for 4-5years.
Thanks tiffin boys.
Will see posting in Berkshire section as well.

However, if possible, do let your DC take the Slough entrance test. It would be very useful for Tiffins NVR/VR tests as well.

Yes I believe it will.
