I know that this is really for the Independent section but several people seem to apply to Kingston Grammar locally when they are really hoping for a Kingston or Sutton state selective.

Anyway, I saw an article in the Evening Standard yesterday saying that Sarah Fletcher is leaving KGS next year to become the first headmistress of City of London School for Boys. It's obviously a prestigious move for her but I think a great loss for KGS. She was a very impressive speaker and the school was obviously going from strength to strength. Hopefully the new head will be as good.
