704 boys sat the examination on 9 October 2013, and 424 boys have passed the entrance examinations for Wilson’s School. The pass mark was 480 based on an aggregate of the scores in the Selective Eligibility Test and the two elements of the Wilson’s School second stage examination.

Is there anyone who is exclusively offered a place at this stage? Considering 424 applicants passing there seems a tough competition for 150 places.

Hi, just got the results - my son has passed too! Delighted :D

Just a little confused that since there are 424 candidates that passed, how likely we are to get a place even if we place it as our top choice :?

Congratulations to all. I guess that those passed have very high chances of getting places in one of the three Sutton grammars, if taken all the three tests.

The number of places in Sutton grammars for boys are 390

Well done to all who have got good news :D

I know from previous years that nobody gets an absolute offer or even a hint at this stage.

On the positive side though, some of those 400+ boys are going to pass numerous 11+ exams including Wallington, Sutton Grammar and possibly Kent, Essex and North London ones too. Some will be listing Wilson's much lower on their forms and will be hoping to accept places at different grammar schools. The chances of getting an offer for those who have Wilson as a top choice is therefore much greater than 150/424
