any recommendation for good grammer/ creative writing book

hi, am getting a bit confused my son sits 2015 exam, can anyone suggest a good english book worthbuying for practice, most especially new creative writing introduced, my last experience with 11 plus was 6yrs ago----all changed

There is a set of creative writing books by Stephen Curran (A&E Tuition) that are very good, they are all linked so you would probably need to start with book 1 and work your way through them but as your child's not taking the test for a good while yet there should be enough time to do this. They're good books, with lots of useful tips and my son has enjoyed using them.

Many thanks, my son sits 2014 not 2015 my mistake, a friend from Bromley as suggested same books, just ordered 1-3 for a start
