Even if she doesn't get on the train at Balham with a friend, there'll be girls getting on at stations in between there and Cheam - there are only really one or two trains they can get in that direction at that time of day so they all end up on the same one which I think gets into Cheam just after 8.
Driving into Nonsuch school is a big no no. Parents drop on nearby roads (which we're discouraged from doing in regular letters home!). The school encourage you to drop them in Cheam - it's only a 5 minute walk from there. Cheam itself gets very congested, and the Nonsuch Park car park is a pain for the same reason.
