Re: London school atlas
thanks otb, that's helpful. I hadn't noticed that. I suppose it's helpful in that it gives some sense of the overall composition of the school. Could be helpful if lucky enough to have a choice and want to work out CAF order based on where people come from or indeed if you want to know if others come from the same ward/ area.
To complete my rough analysis based on wards for the Sutton girls' selectives (with partial catchment rules).
Nonsuch Sutton 46%; Epsom & Ewell 26%; Kingston 11%; Merton 10%; Reigate 3%; Wandsworth 3%; Croydon 1%
Wallington Girls Sutton 43%; Croydon 38%; Merton 13%; Reigate 4%; Wandsworth 2%
And now for a bit of "fun" (I've probably gone too far here), looking at all the seven SW/ S London grammar schools as a whole and making no adjustments for size of school, based on wards, Sutton is the winner with 25%! In descending order:
Sutton 25%; Croydon 18%; Kingston 14%; Merton 14%; Epsom 7%; Richmond 6%; Hounslow 5%; Wandsworth 3%; Elmbridge 2%; Ealing 1%; Reigate 1% and others 3%.
Now if only we had the real stats based on individuals........
