Standardisation only compares them to other children their age (by month) it has nothing to do with adding or subtracting marks ....

Aug born and Sept born maturity difference is 30 to 40 percent.So this much advantage they shout get.
mgm this is not right at all, GS classes have plenty of summer born kids in them - the difference may be huge when they are, say 4 years old but by the time they get to 10-11 it is closing fast
