Last year we followed .....

(1). Collins 5-8 (KS3) for Descriptive Maths
(2). Tutor Master - Essays and Reading Comprehension for English

Time was short but they helped a lot...

Hi, can someone help on the second stage format/content for Nonsuch and Wallington Girls?
If I understand correctly that it will not be multiple choices? What will be in English? Comprehension and Essay? Any help please, first time...?

Thank you for your response. We've done a lot on comprehension and not much on Creative writing (except what she've learned at school).
Can you pls guide on a math format as well please?

Question re essays:
My DD is keen on writing cliffhanger endings in her essays. She hasn't been discouraged from doing this at school, however, was marked down for doing this in one of the mock exams. Personally, I don't like such endings as they seem rushed, but she thinks they are "cool". Are cliffhangers disapproved of in 11+ essays?
