My DS also thought that maths paper was quite tough. Did anyone got to know the raw / standardised score of stage 1 maths and English test?

Here is the conversation with my DS after he came out of the Wallington test. ‘Dad, please tell me what did you ever see in me to bring me to this test? Do you know how the maths paper was?’

So I said, ‘Listen son, when anyone else asks you about it, say that it was boring. Spin a story of you having finished it in half the time and then going over it and still had lots of time to spare so went over it again! That will do the trick.’ He replied, ‘How does it sound if we add to this story that after revising for the second time and with more time to spare, I erased some of the answers for a few of them just to do them again for fun. It is just then that the bell rang and that is why the blanks.’ ‘Fine,’ I said.

And that is my story of how simple the paper was!

If anyone is offended by the pun, it is the QE board playing tricks with my mind!

Hate the QE board;Good at discouraging parents from choosing QE as their first choice.

Gather all the information and take all the advise; but go with your instincts.

Hi everyone I'm new here.. I was googling if any news related to the Wallington boys test and found this topic!

Ok.. I don't know if it's true or not, so want to clarify with someone whose DS sat the test on 11oct .. One of the mum told me that there was a mistake in maths paper Q4, so the examiner in Gold zone (morning session) told the candidates to skip Q4 but I asked my DS who was in Lilac zone (morning session)if anyone told them to skip Q4, his answer was 'No' ! So I wonder if it's true or not that the gold zone candidates been told do not need to do Q4 on math's paper? Is there anyone DS in Gold zone morning session or afternoon session can adv if they had been told to skip the math's paper question 4 ? Many many thanks...
