Final Results of the Sutton Grammar School Stage 2 Tests for entry to Year 7 in 2015
The school's Admissions Committee has now met and considered the results of our second stage test. I am delighted to inform you that Child has met the required standard and is included in our rank order of candidates to be considered for a place at Sutton Grammar School.
His name will be on a ranked list that is sent to the local authority so your preferences on the Common Application Form can be taken into account.
There are 459 on the pass list. We do not issue any more information about the breakdown of results to those who have met the selective standard.
We remind you that reaching the selective standard does not guarantee that Child will be offered a place on National Offer Day (2nd March 2015). The oversubscription criteria will be operated. The outcome of this can be:
1) Child is offered a place at Sutton Grammar School;
2) Child is offered a place at a school placed higher on your preference list on the Common Application Form; or
3) Child is offered a place at a school placed lower on your preference list than Sutton Grammar School because this school is full with higher ranked offers and so Child will be on a waiting list for a place at Sutton Grammar School.
The next step is that you will receive communication from your home local authority on National Offer Day with information about which school Child is being offered. Shortly after that we are allowed to write confirming the situation with regard to your application to Sutton Grammar School.
Yours sincerely
