**** no! I will certainly not gate crash . Got the invite due to older boy in tiffin. I am not sure if they will invite parents of those who start this September. For parents of new year 7 boys there is a "New Parents Evening" on the evening of 6th July. Got Invite for that too :D

hello there,

Induction Day at The Tiffin Girls’ School
Wednesday 6 July
New Year 7 students: 8.30am – 3.30pm
New Year 7 parents: 2.30 – 3.30pm

As detailed in our Welcome Pack, we would like to remind you our Induction Day is taking place on Wednesday 6 July.

On this day, there will be a number of induction activities with the aim of your daughter getting to know her tutor group, house group, year group and gaining an insight in what it is like to be a Tiffin girl. She will be taking part in some taster lessons, having an opportunity to form travel buddies and meeting lots of people from our school community. We ask that your daughter is at our school for 8.30am. She will need to be wearing her current school uniform. We will be providing all resources for her during the day, including break time drinks and snacks as well as lunch. The lunch food will be a choice of hot or cold items including the dish of the day, pasta, jacket potatoes and sandwiches. We also cater for students with food allergies. Please ensure your daughter passes this information on to her tutor on the day or alternatively you may provide her with a packed lunch.

We are inviting all parents to join us for a session from 2.30-3.30pm which will involve finding out about practical information for your daughter’s start in September. Following the session end, there will be a chance for refreshments in our Dining Hall until 4.00pm.

You do not need to reply to this email as we are assuming your daughter will be attending this day. However if your daughter is not able to attend it would be helpful if you could please reply to this email with her full name, date of birth and reason for absence.

Please also find attached information on booking an appointment at the John Lewis school wear event, taking place in Kingston on 7 and 8 July.

We look forward to seeing your daughter on Wednesday 6 July at 8.30am for what we hope will be an enjoyable day with her new year group.

Best wishes

Julie O’Leary

Same induction day for Tiffin Boys. Will have a fun time with extra +- 300 cars at school rush hour in Kingston. :D ( assuming parents will be driving their DC to school at least on their first day in a new school)

All three of ours travelled by bus on their induction days here (DD insisted on going on her own). A good opportunity to try out your route 'for real'.
