Sutton Grammer School - Words and Phrases

Dear all parents, My DS gave the test A and test B Mock tests, while his score has improved in test B (212). One of the big area to improve is words and phrases section of English. Please can someone advice how you guys are going about it or practices those types of questions.
If you could mention any specific books, links on the internet to help prepare that will be very appreciated.
