Hi All,
This is my first post, so please go easy.
My DS, realised that the last 2 pages of Wilsons's maths paper were stuck and due to that he didn't realised about last 3 questions. Therefore despite having last 10 minutes at hand he missed last pages. Realised only at the last moment. I know it's been a week now the exams are done and we don't know what to do, really worried as this is his dream school.
I'm looking for help from any moderators and parents,
1) that if anyone else has faced similar issue.
2) Is there a way to convey this to school so that they at least look at paper?

Thanks a lot for reading and helping me out.

Hi Lotuspb and welcome to the forum.

At the very least I think you need to discuss this with the school, if there are others then they may know them.

Hi hermanmunster,

Thanks a lot for your response. By any chance do you know if school listen to these type of issues a week after exam paper?

Many thanks again.

In the first instance contact the school and let them know. The Admission Dept. will be able to provide some feedback.
Also, assuming you can provide some evidence to back this up (I am not questioning your statement) you may have grounds for appeal.

I spoke to my DS who said the last few pages were stuck together. He spoke to the pupil next to him after the test who confirmed as a result of this, left three questions out. I think there maybe a case here for some kind of appeal.

Thanks newdud & sen123 for your responses.

It's good to see that this issue is faced by some other candidates as well.

I've notified the school exact scenario but haven't heard anything back yet.

I'm also wondering if there is any moderator, contributor who is currently working in admissions department or has previously worked in similar capacity. Please could you help to understand what are the options on the table?

Any help, advise will be really thankful.

Thanks

BTW my DS attended morning session at Wilsons, where he faced issue with pages stuck together. If anyone else has faced similar issue, please PM me if you are looking to appeal on the issue.

You should think about posting this in the appeals thread and also looking through the appeals FAQs to see whether anything similar has come up before. Good luck.

Thanks for advise, streathammum. That seems to be the best way. I will explore Appeals section.

However I'm also looking to find if there are other parents come forward to make appeal or writing to school in combined way.
