 Post subject: which one is better?

which one is the best in terms of getting a place in good university? which one is most diffcult to get a place for year 7, which one is the easiest?


Sutton Grammar school
Wallington Grammar
Wilson's Grammar school, Wallington
Tiffin boys

I would say that ability to get into a good university is dependent on personal ability and performance at A level.

The first hurdle is to gain a place at an excellent school - of the schools you have listed I would say that Wallington is marginally 'easier' to get into. A good indication of overall cohort ability is the average points score at GCSE/A level (you can find this for each school on the BBC Education League Tables on the website). All of the schools listed will send boys to Oxford/Cambs/London Colleges plus Edinbugh, Durham etc.

Sorry - should have said - I think Tiffin and Wilsons are harder with Sutton in the middle.
