Easter and Summer Holidays

My two children are too old now to be looked after by a childminder and I wondered if anyone knows of somewhere within the Bromley area where they can go during the school holidays. We've tried the council run play schemes but they don't enjoy that either. I hear that some of the indpendent schools run day camps.

Combe Bank and Walthamstow Hall in Sevenoaks run camps - I think that they are called Supercamps and Camp Beaumont.
Tonbridge School also runs courses that are morning and afternoon and you can stay for lunch in the middle.

I live in Bromley and use Camp Beaumont for school holiday childcare - I have just booked my kids into Camp Beaumont's Easter Day Camp at Colfe's School, Blackheath, in the summer school holidays they go to the Camp Beaumont camp at Baston School in Hayes, they have a great time and it works out cheaper than a childminder, my kids are 11 and 13 so they enjoy the camp life and all the activities. There are lots of other similar camps - but none of those offer a full working day care which is what I need.

Will Camp Beaumont be at Baston this year, as the school has now closed?

Yes it is - I have just booked the kids in for the first week of the school holidays as Camp Beaumont are running some early booking offers which expire at the end of this week. I think Baston is going to be turned into a specialist school of some sort, so I HOPE Camp Beaumont will continue to use it as it very convenient for me
