difficult I think we have to remember to say where the school is rather than assume people know... For example how many :

KES are there?
RGS ?
etc

In Essex there are 2 girls GS about 30 mins apart & people travel to either from various locations in this area - both abbreviated as CCHS

Been a few incidents of confusion on the 'Essex' forum!

I think it is easily done as we're all so focused on our particular areas

. Just to echo sentiments on similar threads to this one - please don't forget to inform CCs asap of acceptance or decline of offers for grammars or indies. Either side of the fence are eager parents and DCs waiting for places - year 6 seems like one long wait in 1 form or another

When do the indies finalise bursaries and do they have 2nd, 3rd etc...allocation rounds like grammars? If so waiting could go on all summer...

The deadline for accepting state secondaries (uppers and grammars) has passed (in bucks at least) - has anyone accepted aylesbury grammar but may turn down later after Indies sorted bursaries/waiting lists etc...Can PM me it prefer greater anonymity. Or anyone got AGS but waiting to see if they can get their 1st choice either by appeal or waiting list? House buying chains have nothing on school waiting chains...
