Bethany I know the feeling.

My DD comes out wanting to tell us all about it, we take that small window of opportunity to ask as much as we can, thereafter we cannot get anything out of her apart. Its as though she has wiped it out and can't remember a thing.

Same mats very doable, English had time constraints.

bethany wrote:I think that about 500 children sat for Forest this year - that's according to the letter we received with all the exam details on.

What letter? We had to call to get the details.

Our son was really excited when he came out, and told us everything that had happened. He just about did comprehension, and had a bit of time to go over maths and essay. Sure he has given a good account of himself, just need to wait and see if it's good enough.

Seen a lot of benefit in studying for exam. He was adequate before, but he has rediscovered his love of learning. Sadly, his advancement in his primary school in last 4 years has not been great and he has grown increasingly disenchanted. That was our wake up call to look at independent schools. Glad we did.

Well done muffinmonster and wsc!! That's brilliant news! Did they call you today? I'm guessing that we aren't on the list, but it was always a long shot to get a scholarship interview. we would be really happy just to get an offer. Fingers crossed!

When are your interviews? Good luck to your very clever children, you must be bursting! :)
