Waiting_For_Godot wrote:But not all schools are like this. Obviously a school such as Rugby is a boarding school so the day pupils have to work to the boarding schedule, but I know of schools that finish before 4pm in London. I intend , however, to live very close to whatever day school we choose!
You are right of course Tippo but even at the day schools once they get 'involved' in school life there always appears to be some kind of activity or event on and so living close to the school, as you intend to do, is a wise choice

I've already got 2 of those...and have developed an intimate relationship with our local locksmith and key cutter as a result :D

Maybe not then. One school bag a term gets lost so I'll have to stay tied to the kitchen sink until DS gets home! :roll:

You need a Key Safe!!!! Little box outside the house with a key pad and a key hidden inside ... you just have to remember the number...... :roll: :roll: -

http://www.discountlocks.co.uk/Key-Safe ... e-s/63.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Lots of our older patients have them and we / ambulance / carers etc get into the house using the key (stops them getting lost too easily)... only trouble is that sometimes no one seems to know the number..... :oops: :oops:

(so that explains why Herman was lurking outside a house waiting for carers to turn up at midnight so I could get into house to see lady who didn't know her own number.... honest m'lud)

I was a latch key kid. My mum took the key, threaded a shoe lace through it and tied the key to my belt loop. As long as your kid is wearing his trousers .... :D

No but I did have a pork chop tied around my neck so that the dog would play with me.
