The Chelmsford grammars have CCF - eldest DD tried it but left when she realised it involved getting dirty :roll:

My DS's school has CCF. He had been in the Beavers, Cubs and then Scouts so had NO interest in joining! Thank goodness, the washing after a weekend camping was unspeakably disgusting! :shock:
Although my DS's school is an indie they run the CCF jointly with a local state school which I think is a great idea.
DS is now thinking about doing the D of E awards! :evil: :evil: (more mud!) :roll:

Good at mud in this house and we don't pay extra for it either, it's all included in the price :lol: :lol: :lol:
