The Chelmsford grammars have CCF - eldest DD tried it but left when she realised it involved getting dirty

My DS's school has CCF. He had been in the Beavers, Cubs and then Scouts so had NO interest in joining! Thank goodness, the washing after a weekend camping was unspeakably disgusting! 
Although my DS's school is an indie they run the CCF jointly with a local state school which I think is a great idea.
DS is now thinking about doing the D of E awards!

Good at mud in this house and we don't pay extra for it either, it's all included in the price
