Bancroft, Chigwell, forest schools, city

Post by tubby »

Hi all,

My DD would be sitting the exams for the above schools in Jan, would appreciate any tips from parents whose DC have gone through the exams, or going through at the moment.

Thanks

My nephew is unbelievably happy at Forest - now his third year there. The interview was very simple and informal - definintely a getting to know him one. And they were totally delightful with him and my sister when he thought he'd done really badly in the exam and wrote to them - they wrote back the sweetest letter (before results) saying he shouldnt worry. A really great school from all I hear - pastoral care second to none - less tough to get into than inner London schools, so wider range of abililties.... My sister gave him minimal tutoring as she was going through a tough time herself.... he sailed in and is now near the top of the class in most subjects... and loving the range of music and sport they offer
