Indies in Canterbury area

Post by Peardrop »

Does anyone know what the good indies are in the Canterbury area? We have been to St Edmunds and Kent college with dd and both are offering dd musical scholarship topped with a bursary. We will be moving to the area and would appreciate any feedback regarding these 2 schools or any others.
Thanks

Kings of Canterbury is very very good. DC would be guaranteed a place a 13+ if s/he does well at 11 + to enter the Junior school. Very academic school and the Senior will warn you if that's the right school for your DC. They told us "no room for mediocrity, only excellence". No music scholarship in the Junior school but 10 are awarded at 13+.
