Question about St Helen's selection

Now that dd has got an interview at St Helen's, how do they decide on who gets a place? Is it on the interview only at this stage, or do they look at their exam marks?

I'm worried about how dd has done in the exams as she hasn't been selected by St Albans for interview. St Helen's is our first choice and we will be really, really disappointed if she doesn't get a place.

I don't know how the process works at St Helens as such. However, a couple of other Indies told us that they would give equal weight age to the results in Exam papers of Maths, English, VR and Interview. Some schools give good consideration to the school report as well. So, I would reckon the maximum weight age to the interview is about 25%.

Please ask your DD to relax, and be confident at the interview. Couple of mock interviews would help.

All the best!
