NLCS gymnastics are "OK" - not as good as Habs Girls or St Albans, but they have quite a few girls who train elsewhere (notably Hendon) who are pretty good. They're also very polite. The coach is a lovely lady, perhaps with lower aspirations than some others ;-)

Just got the "ooops, we're putting up our prices by 7%" letter. Hmmmm!

BarnetDad, when did you meet the coach? Just asking because they changed in September, the old one went to teach in Jeju.

I don't know about the other schools, but gym training at NLCS is really only once a week. I don't think there is much focus on gym at all, which is why I asked why their gym squad was part of your decision-making process.

Mmmm, it was at a competition hosted by Habs Girls where I was judging. I can't quite remember when, but I think it was this calendar year.

But in reality it's not a particularly significant factor for us. DD knows several NLCS girls who also train with her at Hendon, so that probably had a bearing - certainly one of their mums kept hassling us to send her there!
