Winchester school applications process/houses
I spoke to Winchester today. She said the houses are all full really (for 2015 entry), but we could perhaps apply to Kingsgate.
She then said Hawkin's had told her not to send any more, but perhaps we could get in touch anyway.
Email address on the website.
It looks like there is (was!) an Open Day in June and you basically go along and try and get a feel for the Housemasters that way?
Is that right?
Or is there another way of matching boy to House? Or does it not really matter that much?

The other way is phoning and asking to see up to three housemasters but you are too late for this now. I'm surprised it's filled already. We applied late but have a place - currently we have no house but will be given one. So it's not too late to apply but it's pot luck with which house you get.
