Hallo Mookiemum

We were in a similar position to you a few years ago. We loved Eltham College but for us, even with a decent scholarship, it would still have been a significant financial commitment and we have 2 other DSs as well. Had money been no object, we may well have chosen Eltham College. But we opted for DGS and and I can only say it has proved to be a fantastic school and our DS is very happy there. Good luck in your decision - I don't think you will go wrong with either of these two!

Hi,

Welcome to the forum! Ds1 is very happy and thriving well at Eltham and takes part in lots of school activities. He is not shy and as such he mixes very well with the group. He has friends at DGS and St Olaves as well. If I had to choose, I will pick DGS as it is an excellent school, it is free and the differences between both schools could be paid for in what you save in fees. I am sure others may have different views and as such it may be a good idea to stick any queries under a thread titled Eltham College.
