Hi,

My DS has been doing individual maths, comprehension, essay, VR and NVR papers as practise, but I'd really like to get hold of some papers which are typical of what he'll face on the day.

He's sitting for Hampton, RGS Guildford and Reeds. Currently with a very wide range of marks - sometimes as low as high 60s, sometimes high 90s for maths and all other papers scoring mid 80s to occasional mid 90s, so I'm not confident that under pressure he is safe for either of the top selectives.

I think he needs to focus and concentrate more and learn how to pace a paper. Does anyone know where I can get hold of past papers, rather than just relying on Bond, IPS etc, as they aren't exact mirrors of what's asked on the day?

Try the websites of your chosen schools for past papers, and other independent schools - for example city of London school for boys have papers on their website, as do the girls school, haberdashers, Manchester grammar, Highgate school etc. beware some don't publish the answers!

Hi , try north london consortium papers, there are 2 consoritums, both publish papers fomr 2008-2011/12 for maths and english.

Hi,

Just came across these. I wanted to ask do you know if the exams are similar for king edwards school, birmingham?

I can't seem to find any past papers for Brum (they have 8 sample question on their site but nothing like this)
