I think you will find that the selection process is done with much more care than the above posts suggest. I got the impression from my son, who sat 11+ a few years ago, that the whole 11+ exam morning had lots of chatting with staff and informal interviewing taking place. They are looking for a certain kind of boy who will benefit from the education available and who can cope with the very intensive 'catch up' needed for subjects such as French and Latin which boys may not have done (or at least not to the same level as existing WUS boys). In our case I am certain that reports were requested from his primary school before the exams. Have you checked with your child's school if such a request was made?

It's a fabulous school.
