Post by NorthLondonMummy »

Has anyone been invited to Interview before the exams? The North London Consortium?

If so, please can you share a tip or two.
Thank you

Although last year DD had interviews after the exams (possibly because I submitted my forms at the last minute  although at one they were obviously doing it school by school) some of the schools interview all candidates and start that process in November (Channing and Francis Holland I think, there may be others). Which school is it NorthLondonMummy?

DD did both. Nothing to worry about, honestly. Everybody was very friendly. At Channing, DD was asked about current events. FH was done in groups, I think. They aren't trying to catch your DD out at these. Just looking for a spark and thinking 'would I want this girl in my classroom'. The only piece of advice I can give is- if these are your 'safety' schools or you have a DD at another school, come up with a good reason why you would choose Channing/FH. They won't waste a place if they think you won't take it.
