Don't discuss format of Habs girls until after back up date

As there was a different format today at Habs girls it is critical that this is not discussed until after the back up date is over. It would be too easy for a student to prepare if they knew the format. It would not be fair on all the (non prep) girls who went in there and coped with what they found. It appears the prep girls knew the new format and were busy prepping! DG

Rather an inflammatory accusation against girls' prep schools. Is this just speculation or based upon fact?Surely the best policy was to just urge caution at this highly charged time.

Or are you referring to girls prepped by certain tutors?

I read that comment as referring to the girls who are already at Habs juniors.

In my day (admittedly 30 years ago) they had a different cut-off for these girls anyway, so it was easier for them to get a place at the senior school than it was for external candidates.

I think there still is a different cut off. DG

Got an email today morning from Habs saying that they have now finished marking all 11+ exam papers and will be senind out letters to all - whether selected for interview or not during this week. They have said to give them a call if we dont hear by 27th Jan.
So assume testing completed?

Can we be sure the backup date is gone?
