CLSG intake is usually 90. Well it is in my daughter's year anyway! Sometimes schools get caught out by over-offering and then have to add another form but somehow they usually manage to get it right.

How many of those come from the prep school? How many forms do they run in each year? Thanks DG

Thank you. That seems such a low number compared to the 40 odd at St Albans. Is there just one class and is that the normal size of the class? DG

How many girls are eventually taken for St Albans high for girls in total?

Also how many girls are called back for interview for SHH vs STAHG?

There are 48 at Wheathampstead, (the St Albans prep school) two classes of 24. At least 3 or 4 are not offered places at the High school and 3 or 4 more move to schools like Habs and NLCS that are considered to be more academic. So I would say 40 odd come from the prep and so there are 50 spaces to be offered. As they do a group interview we do not know anyone who has got to interview and not been offered a place. In fact nobody from our old primary has ever failed to get a place at either St Albans boys or girls. DG

My understanding is that tomorrow is the day for notification so nobody has heard yet. I know several applicants and i will hear very shortly after they hear because they will tell me!
