Habs Girls 11+ Exams

Post by sweetpeas »

Can anyone help with regards to this question my dd is sitting the 11+ in Jan 2015 but as a mum panic has just kicked in. Any books that she needs to do. I have already printed the boys papers. Is it worth tutoring, after speaking to her teachers they did say not to worry and that she isn't a concern, but after seeing some mums is hard not to be.
She is at an independent school at the moment.
Please any advice would help. Also should she be sitting mocks? HELP!!! :?

600 girls sat the Habs girls exam this year. If you do a search on Habs girls you can read some of the posts. No teacher in any school, prep or otherwise is able to guarantee that your dd will get a place unless she is at Habs prep. Your problem is going to be you will be up against girls who have done very detailed preparation for the state selectives and will be very strong candidates. How many girls did your school get in this year? Where do you live? I would suggest you register for DAO if you are in the catchment area and also HBS and Herts and Mill Hill County. I would suggest the Sutton Mocks but they are completely sold out. DG
