I am looking to put my son into a Prep School. It follows the Nat Curriculum but pupils do not sit KS2 SATS. They do, however, undertake intense prep for 11+ Common Entrance Exams. My question is, is the Common Entrance Exams of a similar standard to the NFER 11+ entrance papers for grammar schools. (By papers I am taking about Eng, Maths, VR and NVR).

I suggest that you check out the official common entrance website at iseb.co.uk . At 11+ I think that they sit papers in English, maths and science. I think that past papers are available from the above site.
