Well done! I had heard some speculation that the likes of NLCS and CLSG would not send out interview slots until after the group 1 consortium tests tomorrow (I guess the concern would be that girls who are not offered interviews might lose confidence and perform less strongly as a result). Sounds like that was just wishful thinking on the part of the parents!

I was wondering, with all of these schools, what is the ratio of interviews conducted to offers made? Does anyone know what the rough proportions are? I have just told DD that she has an interview and am trying to manage her expectations, but I'd like to get a clearer idea myself of what her chances actually are.

I'm keen to know the ratio of invited vs selected too, to manage our expectations. Could anyone help on what to expect in these interview sessions? My daughter got the interview call too, so just trying to know. Well done n all the best to the girls for interviews. Can't wait to reach the end of this process!

I'm afraid that they don't over offer by much as this has caused problems in the past.

Thank you shootmenow. I think I was told there were somewhere in the region of 60 places. I wonder then how many are called to interview? Does anyone know this? Either way, we are just thrilled to have got to the interview stage.

From hearsay, about half the children called for interview receive offers. No concrete evidence of course.
