I mean that it is closer to London geographically, accessible by tube and attracts more girls who live in more central areas of London. It's also a complete mix of girls of every faith and ethnic origin. I don't think that the girls are more sophisticated in a negative sense but there are a significant majority who are comfortable out and about on their own in central London and who regularly take advantage of the cultural opportunities of living in the city.

Quick question on the scholarship offers. Apologies if this has been answered before.

Are the scholarship children given any preferences once they get into the school?

No - my daughter won a scholarship to NLCS.

They are expected to maintain their standards so it can be stressful for some children.
