Hi,
DS has got an offer from John Lyon and we are contemplating it against state school we got offered. Are there any current parents/students who can provide an idea of the school ethos and pastoral care? How do they deal with students if they lag a bit in studies at any point?
What is the best aspect of the school?
Any information would be immensely helpful.

We are in the same boat.
Think it's fair to say that JLS isn't in the same academic league as say MTS or HABS, but still produces some Very good results and turns out well rounded boys.
Was impressed with my visit to the school and the teacher pupil interaction.
Was looking for more information from this forum, but haven't had any response.
We are taking the plunge and going for JLS. My son loved the atmosphere and could really see himself there. his primary school played some football tournaments there.
