Talk to me a bit about Berkhamsted

Does anyone have much experience with Berkhamsted and can offer any advice about how well they stretch the most able pupils, and about the school in general? We're looking for a 3-year-old, and also considering St Albans High School for Girls and Habs, though as their intakes don't align with Berkhamsted's (4 for those two versus 3 for Berkhamsted) it would help to decide sooner rather than later whether to try for the latter two. So hard to really know at such a young age. Even though she seems smart and confident relative to many of her peers, who's to say if she'd end up happy in a higher pressure environment. Berkhamsted seems strong all round, is an easier journey than the other two and takes boys, which is logistically useful to us having a son too.

Would love to hear some opinions on it.
