Anybody out there know anything about the entrance exam for Colfe's or have any views on the school? We were very impressed when we visited and were given 2 sample test papers but I'd be interested to hear the advice/views of others.

It's brilliant school but it costs. You must be assured of your income for the duration of the child's school years and university. Don't forget all the 'extras' like school trips, photos, etc - they don't come cheap.
V small classes, excellent results. I'd send my child there if it was nearer and if I could afford it.

The distance is an issue, but, more importantly so is the cost! We were pinning our hopes on a sports scholarship (which we were told at the open day could be 50% of the fees). It's just a safety net option really. Even half the fees would be a big burden, but our first choice non-selective school has just gone into special measures.....
