My son has an interview soon at City of London, any tips on what to expect on the day will be very helpful.

I don't know if it is the office block style building, but it doesn't have much atmostphere. Most of these kids will be commuting into the City for the rest of their lives, why not give them some green spaces. Location of the playing fields is a bit off putting too.

I agree and it was the reason we didn't accept their offer but I do think for some children it's an exciting environment to be in.

Dear Guest and Simon,

Please can I ask where you accepted. I am looking at boys school for my son. I have not seen city boys, I saw the girls. We did not like it, so we did not sit the exams. Thanks

From the Guest - we accepted a place at Highgate (which is now co-ed).

curious as to what you didn't like about the girls school? I've worked there a few times and liked the place.

i cant really say.

It took me over 30minutes to find the entrance which did not help. I cant put a hand on it. My daughter did not like it.

However I liked what the school had to offer, especially the links with the city.
