NLCS past english and Maths papers answers

Post by CARINGMUM2015 »

Hi all,

I understand NLCS does not issue any answers to Maths and English past papers. Wondered if anyone had any answers to past maths papers please?

Also will be grateful for some advise on how best to prepare for the second type of new sample paper qs - "children these days do not get enough freedom- do you agree?"

thanks

The examiners will want to see evidence of a balanced argument, so phrases like some people may think, on the other hand, it could be argued that, it has been said that etc.

I would get her to make a list of the arguments for and against and then draw up a simple plan.

The writing should have paragraphs for each new thought. She should obviously include evidence for both sides of the argument rather than just persuasive writing. You could google KS2 writing a balanced argument for some pointers.

Start with an introduction...paragraphs for each point and then draw it all together in a conclusion. In conclusion, I believe..etc.
