Read the thread, had a laugh.

As for GNVQs in Hairdressing, as far as I am aware (and I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong in the true spirit of this thread) GNVQs no longer exist and were withdrawn as a qualification last year or the year before.

Now you would have to do a foundation or intermediate certificate, such as BTEC Intermediate at level 2.

By the way, I hope you don't all look down your noses at your hairdresser and be thankful that s/he has her "GNVQ" in hairdressing and not a physics degree from Oxford.
