We started 11+ prep work during the Year 5 Easter break and in order to get a benchmark score, we sat them down with a set of Bond papers almost immediately. They scored just over 60%. The following January they were scoring 87% to 93%. So, 10% gain is a bit pessimistic

We started the 11+ prep in year 4 Ester break. We just went over the technics but no question papers till we were sure DS understood every trick of the trade. Initially Ds scored 80-90% in NEFER which increased to 90%+. But I have to add....there would be days when he would get 75% for days....no matter what subject!! The whole score pattern was a wave pattern! Sometimes up... other times down. Just did not get comfortable....he kept us on the seat's end.
