Yes but I certainly would never put water in it. I only get it out at night when they can't sleep. I fill it with the output from our document shredder and ask them to piece it all back together. It does wonders for their reading ages, and takes ages too.

The sad thing is that some people would actually do this!

Oh I'm not so sure they would try it more than once though. If you forget to remove those little staples, you end up having to get out the puncture kit in the middle of the night. It can be trying.

Hello
My son was offered a place in GS from Sept. We did not touch a thing during summer hols (which he started 2 weeks earlier than he should have). He worked very hard from Jan till summer and then after summer hols. He got back into the testing routine very quickly after summer and did not seem to forget anything. Do not torment your kids. They will burn out ..and imagine the sense of failure if they don't pass!

I agree with Moose. I started tutoring my dd in Feb so plan on going on until Summer hols and then breaking on it all together. If dd wants to maybe she can do the odd test but I am going to ask her first how she feels

Afraid there wont be much let up over the summer hols for us - but we certainly wont be doing more!!

DD sits her exams in September along with the rest of North Yorkshire.

Oh well, at least it gets it over and done with :D

Gosh September is so early....it hardly gives a child any time to settle back into school does it? Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing!
