I would be most grateful for some advice please. My son will be sitting the Essex exams in September this year which I am aware are now designed to avoid parents over tutoring their children. However, I'm keen to build my son up to the task. Apart from past papers which I have obtained from CSSE site, will anyone please suggest the best and most relevant and effective practice resources for Maths, English VR and nonVR as well as development of creative writing skills suited to their style of exams. There are no specific tips I can glean from the CSSE as the exams are now set to avoid over preparation. Very grateful indeed in anticipation.
