The school need not send them all back, they can select which ones to return.

My son was teacher assessed at level 5 across the board and achieved level 5 in reading and science but only got 4 in maths and writing, Literacy was graded at 5 overall!

How will the secondary school view this? Will they regard the level 4's as blips or view it as a true assessment of his ability?

The English is a 5 - the breakdown into reading/writing probably won't be seen.

Maths - what score did he get? If close to a 5 then I would not worry.

To be honest we have no idea if it was near a 5 or not! Unfortunately we have a strained relationship with the Headteacher and Year 6 head and we don't really feel able to talk to them reference this matter!

Skeggy don't talk, write.
Request a copy of the breakdown of raw scores.
They cannot refuse a written request.

Good Luck!
