You have 15 minutes reading time before you start - use this carefully.

Read through the whole passage several times and think about the main points of each paragraph.

When reading through the paper, you can use a highlighter to pick out the main points.
You could also number the paragraphs as you read the text.
If there is an obviously long paragraph with lots of information in it, you could put a brief reminder about the content at the side of the paper.
These are some of the tips I pass on to my pupils.
