Does anyone know when the results of the Sats are due?

I think we get ours this week sometime with their reports. I'm afraid I think they are a tedious waste of everybody's time so I wasn't paying attention when we were told!

Most schools have the papers back now so that they can check for any unexpected results and appeal where necessary.

I think we get the results along with the school report towards the end of term.

It does vary from school to school - depends how quickly the marker finishes with them!

Level boundaries are on the QCA website:

Given verbal SATS today 5/5/4 missed by two marks on the English, DS is a bit disappointed but it will soon go, keep reminding him to look forward to five/seven years at Reading School. The "taster" day yesterday came at the right time removed any doubts made some friends and can't wait till September.

Thanks. Being a competitive boy he didn't like being beaten by his friends. I would say to other parents being a bit weak on English ( or any other subject ) should not stop you going for the elevenplus. If RGS feel he needs help then he will get the lunch time catch up lessons.

Hi,

My son got his yesterday with end of year report.

4 Maths
5 English
5 Science

Will try and find out how much he missed the 5 on maths by today. We 're very pleased with what he got we weren't expecting a 5 for English.
